Hard paste porcelain is a pure, natural material made of the raw materials kaolin (50%), feldspar (25%) and quartz (25%). The glaze consists of feldspar and quartz. For the manufacture of hard paste porcelain, neither bone ash nor any chemicals are used in Kahla.
